CHILD CARE CONSULATION AND TRAINING

We offer on site or phone consultations to day care providers regarding health and safety issues, Health promotions for children in pre-school, head-start, or day cares, at their facilities upon request by the providers. Also training clock hours for the providers taking care of children. These clock hours provided by the Health Department can only be acquired after regular working hours or on weekends. Receive by request the Morgan County Quarterly Newsletter for day care providers.

FOOD SAFETY CLASSES

Environmental classes are also available from the Morgan County Health Center. Mobile Food Safety Classes are available for food establishments and are set up at the convenience of both the owner/manager and the Environmental Public Health Specialist. Food Safety Certification through Morgan County Health Center is optional. Food classes are available for all age groups. Environmental classes for topics such as spiders, rodents, bats, rabies, and insect control are available periodically.
